Yes it is, although it's not the only reason. Various systems in the game are funneling people into CT, which pulls them away from higher level things. A lot of people only have CT unlocked, a lot of people aren't lv 80+ when using the roulette as they are leveling, and Bozja rewards CT runs with items needed for upgrades. Those aren't the only reasons, but it's part of it.

One time it was 2am and I got in in 5 minutes (the only time it was ever under an hour), and other times I can queue at primetime and it takes over 2 hours.

If 2am seems to work for you, maybe you should queue at 2am.

It didn't in the OP, and I edited my post when I found the post saying what time, you probably started replying before the edit went through. Also, some people put their alts as their forum character, which could potentially be from a different DC.

I'd also ask when you're queuing and on what DC. If I queue now on Aether, I can get into Tower at Paradigm's in about 13m according to the estimated time (as an Aiming DPS). If you're on a dead DC like Dynamis or Materia and are queueing in the middle of the night for your DC's main demographic, then those are your issues.

I said what duty I'm doing. I said what role I'm queuing as. It says what server I'm on. I've said what times I've queued at. And I'm here to tell you that the "estimated time" doesn't mean a damn thing. Especially once it reached "more than 30m".

If 2am seems to work for you, maybe you should queue at 2am.

Considering how much you seem to think the issue is with me and not with the way the game is designed and how people will deliberately do something that screws over other players if it means they get a free reward, it does seem suspicious. Also weird how fixated you're getting on a passing comment. No need to get offended over it. If it's wrong just move on.

I guess I'll just ignore you from this point on if it makes you feel better.

There are definitely problems with the current system, CT has too many incentives and reasons to get pulled into it. Personally I think making the max ilv lower for LotA and Syrcus Tower would at least help as those raids wouldn't be worth ilv cheesing for as much. (plus it would make them more fun lol)

I do miss actually doing mechanics in LotA and Syrcus Tower. There are so many players now that if they saw them they wouldn't even know what to do. CT practically puts me to sleep, but so does being tethered to my PC for a long time because walking away for ~45 seconds could kick me out of the queue. Can't win either way I guess.

Oh, this is an easy one for me to answer. As someone who played on 4 characters, I avoid unlocking all the Alliance raid outside of CT, except for a couple I care about glam on all of my other chars outside of my main. At the same time, I still unlock normal raid as I go.

- If you're a long time player like me, you're mostly done with your main at this point anyway, so I don't really do roullete on my main any more.

- Working on my alt, I made sure they don't unlock the raid I don't want to get into. I suspect I'm not the only veteran doing this.

- If you're a new players, most of the time you gonna be at lower level content anyway.

None taken but people not unlocking nier raids because they dont care about them absolutely matters for your point. This isnt my opinion, that's how it is.

This person spoke the truth, you don't want to accept it won't change it. In past similar thread there were even people express "regret" of unlocking Lighthouse because they thought it was required for Borza, and as a result they never touched the Alliance roulette on that char anymore. I can assure you "avoiding unlocking Alliance raids" is a very real thing.

It’s been explained to you by a few people. My lalafel is 80+ and hasn’t done any alliance outside crystal tower. I would not be added to your pool and instead, if I queued, I would pull potential players from your pool into crystal tower. Nothing you can do about that.

If queueing is so bad for you; for something you seem to be doing for glamour, use party finder.

Getting mad at people on the forums because duty finder won’t force people into nier raids will do you no favours

That may be a DC problem. I've queued for AR every day this week in Eastern timezone primetime usually as a tank and I've gotten Aglaia every time.

Last week it was endless Nier.

The only time I can seem to get CT is if I intentionally queue it for items or on my Marilith alt who isn't done with HW yet so that's all she has.
