Yes it is, although it's not the only reason. Various systems in the game are funneling people into CT, which pulls them away from higher level things. A lot of people only have CT unlocked, a lot of people aren't lv 80+ when using the roulette as they are leveling, and Bozja rewards CT runs with items needed for upgrades. Those aren't the only reasons, but it's part of it.

One time it was 2am and I got in in 5 minutes (the only time it was ever under an hour), and other times I can queue at primetime and it takes over 2 hours.

If 2am seems to work for you, maybe you should queue at 2am.

It didn't in the OP, and I edited my post when I found the post saying what time, you probably started replying before the edit went through. Also, some people put their alts as their forum character, which could potentially be from a different DC.

I'd also ask when you're queuing and on what DC. If I queue now on Aether, I can get into Tower at Paradigm's in about 13m according to the estimated time (as an Aiming DPS). If you're on a dead DC like Dynamis or Materia and are queueing in the middle of the night for your DC's main demographic, then those are your issues.

I said what duty I'm doing. I said what role I'm queuing as. It says what server I'm on. I've said what times I've queued at. And I'm here to tell you that the "estimated time" doesn't mean a damn thing. Especially once it reached "more than 30m".

If 2am seems to work for you, maybe you should queue at 2am.

Yeah, idk. If 2am doesn't work, then there doesn't seem to be a work-around for you then.

There are definitely problems with the current system, CT has too many incentives and reasons to get pulled into it. Personally I think making the max ilv lower for LotA and Syrcus Tower would at least help as those raids wouldn't be worth ilv cheesing for as much. (plus it would make them more fun lol)

I do miss actually doing mechanics in LotA and Syrcus Tower. There are so many players now that if they saw them they wouldn't even know what to do. CT practically puts me to sleep, but so does being tethered to my PC for a long time because walking away for ~45 seconds could kick me out of the queue. Can't win either way I guess.
