Maybe something more along the lines of you getting a rare item FROM leves that you can trade at the adventurer's guild for that other RARE leve and fight a monster (like the morbol in the into) that needs a full party and get a cool reward from it (like U/U gear).

That definitely will make leves more desirable and useful.

2) The second thing that I took note of was also during the Morbol fight. The Lalafell mage enchants the Midlander's bow/arrows and they become fire arrows. If we had something like that that boosts melee weapon damage according to the mobs you're fighting, maybe we would've had more diverse parties in doing stuff.

For example: Fighting a mob that's weak to fire, you need 1-2 THMs/BLMs that can enchant a WARs, DRGs, MNKs etc weapons thus making those jobs' damage compare to that of a THM/BLM.

Then we wouldn't have "THM ONLY" parties.

Thoughts anyone?
Could turn leves into like BCNM type things. Trade in seals/form of currency/faction points to get a pop item for an instance/HNM fight.

However this is probably straying far from what leves are actually for, which is for solo leveling.

What I said above should probably be it's own form of content, but still use the Adventurer's Guild to get pop item. (like the orbs from kindred seal, you went to the one guy in Jeuno in FFXI)

This is off-topic in terms of leves/intro cutscene, but on-topic in terms of what the OP was saying with getting rare items by initiating special quests at the Adv Guild.
