You are also just saying vague statements LMAO. I gave you a website where obviously there's some demands for it, you reject it. How about you show me where (outside this forum) people reject ungendered sits bro? Why do I have to prove everything to you when you know damn well you're putting fingers in your ears and going "BUUUUT ITS ACTUALLY A SMALL SUBSET OF PLAYERS!" Like cmon dude.

How did I reject the website you brought up as a way to say there's some demand for it? I used that site to prove that even though there IS some demand for it, it seems to be rather low. That's not rejecting the fact that there's a demand at all.

Bro you saying that the demand is rather low for it is because you took a cursory glance at the "most downloaded" page, looked at the first mod, then called it a day. I gave you a couple mods of the relevant thing that we're talking about, I'm not going to hand hold you and find every single mod out there that swaps poses so to appease you lmao. If there's mods for it, and there are over a thousand downloads for it, do you not consider the fact the demand doesn't stop there? Do you think it just ends up players modding the game and calling it a day? No? So then why assume that it's small? I gave the site as a baseline to start off from where it's *not* just only the players on the forum wanting ungendered sits. You can see outside the website that there is a demand for it, even if it's not vocalized.

The rejection just comes from you tunnel visioning on the numbers because otherwise you don't really have a point lmao.

The reason I looked at the "most viewed" (not most downloaded) is because it gives an insight to how many people visit that site and where their interests lie. It establishes a baseline number. If 664k people (the number from the highest viewed mod) looked at one mod then it shows that at least 664k people are using mods. Of those 664k modders you've now established exist, 30k or so show an interest in a particular mod. That establishes a percentage. 30k viewers of that one mod is 4.5% of the 664k known modders. If the number of modders is higher than your baseline and the number of views on that one particular mod remains the same then its over all percentage value decreases.

Nobody said anywhere that there isn't going to be demand from outside the forums either.

The people who visit the site vs the people who view that specific mod and ontop of that, download it, are very, very, very different things. How and why in the world would you even get the idea that the number of viewed mods = the number of people who the visit/interests are?? Legit. That's not how stats work m'dude nor does that prove anything other than you certainly can pull numbers out of thin air.

Also, here's what started this discussion, since you forgot:

You've completely missed the point or are intentionally being obtuse about it. Either way I'm done explaining it to you.

The forums are where they are going to get the information on whether something has interest or not. The forums are also a small percentage of the playerbase. Pointing that out isn't negating that there are people outside the forums that may want this. Also if those people aren't voicing their interests then how are the developers going to know?

No I acknowledge your point, I just think it's stupid lmao.

And idk dude, there's a lot of ways to gauge player interest. Restaurants and retail have been gauging customer interest for a long time without people voicing their complaints. Most people don't complain directly really. Ever heard the phrase "they decide with their feet"? Certainly there are people who work at SE who look at hard numbers, player engagement, scour through Twitter/Reddit/whatever social media to gauge interest, players voice their interests or disinterest in more ways than you'd think. Tbh, the fact is the demand *is* enough for SE to consider ungendering outfits. Those same people are probably the ones who would majority support ungendered idles/sits as well. To SE, the number is significant enough to bother doing this, so it can be reasoned that ungendered sits/idles, if possible, would be at least a bit on the radar, but who know?

Late to the party but that's not how that works. 664k people can download one mod but hundreds of thousands of others can ignore said mod and view/download others instead. You can get a loose estimation but it's definitely not reflective of the entire community to judge off one mod. I'm gonna go off assumption and say the mod you looked at was a body mod because they tend to be popular. There's actually dozens of different kinds of bodies to choose from and the community tends to use three in particular but there are a healthy portion that use the other more specific ones (androgynous for example). The same can also be applied to clothes, hair, makeup, etc. I assure you, there are more than 664k modders in this game. XD Try closer to a million or more at this point.

Uh, yeah, that's kind of the point. It doesn't matter if they only look and move on. The fact they're there means they're either already modding, or looking to get into it. Either way it's a minor baseline number. Obviously there are going to be more than that. I never claimed that was the total number of modders. Which makes the comparable percentage of people looking at/downloading the particular mod in question on here significantly lower.

I'm referring to the people that don't look at it at all. You're not accounting for everyone, that's my point. You can get a loose estimation but not a number that actually reflects the entire community. I used body mods as an example because there are multiple and totaling those together would give a more closer number but still wouldn't account for those who still use the vanilla body.

Pretty much the way you phrased it came off like you were basing the entire community off one mod. If that wasn't your intention then fair enough but that's how your discussion read to me.
