Honestly they could probably remedy this on NA/EU by paying for more server infrastructure and just slapping in like 30 more wards set to first come first serve, then changing it to lottery a day later.

30 more wards would definitely make a difference, but you wouldn't even need to go back to first come first serve with that many new houses.
We don't actually need unlimited houses, only so many play and want a house, it's just that the supply currently doesn't meet that demand. In some smaller servers, particularly JP and the newer EU ones when they were still relatively new, it wasn't uncommon to find half-empty wards with plots that just weren't being taken up, by anyone.
It's not that this system was broken form the start, it just wasn't future-proofed for such a rapid increase in players.
You could add 100 more wards and it will still be sticking a plaster over a gash. Until they fix how it's abused it does feck all.
No? 30 wards is thousands of houses.
The housing shortage is NOT as drastic as people make it out to be, it's just that any shortage at all feels unfair, because there end up being losers.
As I stated in my previous post, there have been many occasions where wards have been empty, and plots have not been taken up. the supply has beaten out the demand before.
What would be the point in adding 100 new wards if 60 of them ended up being 90% empty?
They've just added 60 wards and on busy servers it's still a massive issue. So how do u think 30 is going to fix it lolNo? 30 wards is thousands of houses.

Well that's the format I meant. If this update added 12 per district, I'm saying 30 more per district should meet demands.
(and for the record, I was including subdivisions, while I'm sure this 12 is counting them as separate wards, so I said 5, in reality it's 6)
