Your rights are not being impeded in any way, shape, or form because someone decided to run around in an outfit you do not approve of. Just don't look.

But if it really really really means that much to you, then, actually, the option to hide other peoples' glamour exists... through the use of 3rd party tools. Such options as that, we'll never see implemented in XIV, as XIV can barely implement countdown timers without nearly imploding in on itself, so you're going to have to stick with client-side tools for this.
Actually, I want to go there, so please explain your position.

How is disabling glamours for me, somehow disturbing for you? How is controlling how I want to interract with the game, and enjoy the baseline models, in the world, without having to see other people's glamours but my own? I've said nothing beyond that I don't want to see ANYONE's glamours, and there is absolutely no bias towards any specific outfit.

Please defend the point that this is anything more but people trying to force others into their fantasy/experience, and using in game mechanics to create an unsafe space that says "my experience is more important than yours, and you're FORCED to experience it."

No, that's wrong. Evil even. Uncharitably and in best case, that position is nothing more than a thinly veiled guise to control other people, or at worse case, ignoring a player's consent and vehemently forcing their experience into another person's own private session of the game that literally affects no one.

Defend the position, because the gauntlet has been thrown, and I'd like an answer as to how this isnt anything but wrong.

Also, suggesting that I use third party programs and risk my account being banned because of breaching TOS is absolutely insulting. To have to go to such lengths just to enjoy the game in a safe environment is bewildering.
