Negative. Can only join parties if invited, otherwise they're stuck with DF.

I know it's negative, I meant that they should allow players to, please look at what I'm responding to.

The point is, if you queue up even using "Duty finder" EXT you know what you're queuing for you (hopefully) would at least watched a guide, while a mentor queueing into a random roul EXT shouldn't be expected to remember what to do on each and every EXT fight in the game, I don't know what people really expect of mentors lol.

If we want to go onto the hill that Mentors should know and remember every EXT fight then we would and should make it mandatory to clear every extreme un-synched in the game as a mentor we should make it known that to be a proper mentor you need to do harder content. (right now you can never touch harder content and have a crown). But I don't really think it's realistic honestly.

Nah. You shouldnt be expected anything. Game cant really force you to watch guide. What if you enjoy doing fights blind? Yeah, it forces others to carry that weight for you, but as a lonely F2P, you dont really have a choice. I dont watch guides until I clear fights and I love Day 1 blind progs, so I would totally get those ppl.

Nah, I would rather have every quee via DF to have little notification, that it is actually extreme content. Something like when you do BA in Eureka for the first time. That also tells you that its unforgiving duty.

Isnt that the purpose of the mentor? You dont need to remember every single mechs to never fail, but you should understand the game good enough, that you can adjust pretty easily. My first Zurvan or Nidhogg synced fights were thru mentor and I didnt had problems to come up with sollutions during first pull. And as you get used to mentor roulette, you slowly just remember all mechs and gimmicks.

But you need to actually clear every single EX (Except last one, which is always in hardcore cattegory). I guess you mean synced, instead of unsynced? They would need a special trigger for that and thats too big hassle and not so easy.

I understand that, but generally if you're using Duty finder going in blind, I don't think it's fair on some random mentor to be able to explain every single mech to you, the issue is more of a problem with mentor rouls containing Extremes generally. I obviously think mentors should have know a lot about the game and be able to give advice when asked, because that's generally the entire purpose of mentors, I just don't really think the its great to have mentors Rouls mixed with DF EXT fights.

I mean synched (so at the proper level, sorry I'm a bit tired). I think if you want to make the argument mentor rouls should be about EXT's then they should have to have cleared every fight at it's proper level. They should also lock the Icon behind doing so if you think Mentors should be about teaching hardcore content.

I'll Just also add, that even if we disagree on what mentors should do, the current system makes zero sense for both sides of the argument.
