I know what I'm doing on that fight and lag (character position update) kicks my ass everytime.
I suppose you are one of those people that likes animation lock because it separates the people who are paying attention and who are not hmm.
I'll be so F'ing glad when we move to the new servers at least we can combat the boss and not the servers.
Sound like a case of the few carrying the rest if you ask me, which you can do in any MMO.It all comes down to skill...people who don't know what they are doing, won't get it done, simple thing...especially a big problem with PUGs...just did an AV Speedrun with LS members yesterday (w/o even trying) with members who haven't even beaten the instance yet, still we got it done, although it wasn't even our intention...
AV/CC/DH don't have the same issues with server lag as Ifrit, they are tougher IMO but once you know the fight not much can go wrong.
This is so ass backwards, why not make the drop 100% .. seriously SE !!Triairy

以前コメントさせていただき、検討を続けてきましたが、
ドロップ率を調整するのではなく、NPC“ロウェナ”で交換する際の交換レートを、
パッチ1.22にて調整することで対応を行う予定です。
Although we have commented on this issue before, in the end we have decided to not alter the drop rate, but instead alter the exchange rate of the NPC "Rowena" in patch 1.22.
焔神のトーテム像 10個 → 5個に変更
Totems: 10 → 5
クポの実のお守り 20個 → 10個に変更
Nuts: 20 → 10
これは、毎回必ず同じパーティメンバーで挑むわけではないことから、
この仕様にするよりも、交換レート側を調整した方が、
より多くの人が武器を入手できる可能性が高くなると判断したためです。
Because you wouldn't be fighting the battles with the same party members every time, we have decided that by rather than altering the drop rates, by altering the exchange rate people will have a better chance at getting the weapons they want.
