What's the point with that quite lackluster story in Endwalker?

That's a lot of senselessly hostile drivel for an off-hand remark directed at nobody in particular. But feel free to continue being personally offended by anyone who doesn't think XIV is a spotless image of perfection. I also find it amusing.

To me, this topic was less about changing opinions and more about trying to validate people who already share similar sentiments because a lot of people have come in to express their feelings about things that they felt could've been done better, that they disliked, etc. A significant part of the community is so against any form of criticism that it makes people genuinely afraid to say anything negative or give honest opinions about things; particularly the content creators who stand to potentially lose from it if they don't conform to the masses, but when you have like-minded people coming together, it can empower others to make them feel willing to speak out when they may not have originally.

Viewing things through a critical eye as opposed to just eating it up without a second thought has largely helped me to appreciate things more, not less, and while I still largely like XIV, I'm just not terribly sure if that's going to continue being the case going forward anymore.
