If the current design was so detrimental to the game it wouldn't be having record breaking player counts and content clears.

The core gameplay loop isn't widely player retentive, we peaked because people were mad at WoW, not because they loved XIV so much. Then we spiked for MSQ. People like MSQ? Hurray I guess. May as well be a visual novel, wouldn't make a difference at this point.

But I mean congratulations, we're as retentive as Farming Simulator 22. lol
