I know plenty actually. I've even worked on hobby games before. There's even indie games that are doing better who, iirc have about...15? 20? people and games from commercial companies like capcom etc whom have 120+ that aren't doing anywhere near as good.

You should really look at the Japanese indie scene, a lot of indie games are done by 1 person to teams of under 10. Even look at the touhou fan-scene alone.

See? I even wrote that the popularity of the game or how fun the game is has nothing to do with the staff and i clearly wrote it knowing you would reply that. You do realize making an exact clone would make it even easier to do, right? You have access to every asset except source code (for the most part) if you've installed the game on your PC.

XIV's source code is not public first of all. 2nd, did i say make the exact game by reusing all the materials 100+ professional crafter over the last 5 yrs? Is this how you prove your point?

I'm pretty sure it's not public, do you know what the word "except" means? If not, it means not including. You have access to the .dll and executable, which gives you some access to the code, however reverse engineering is largely illegal to do.

You cannot make a game like FFXIV with 10 pple, not unless you want it to take 20yrs and that by the time you finish, video games will have moved to something so different that you just wasted a 5th of your life. Regardless my point is, more staff = better and you tried to say it is the other way around and then claim you know how to make games. riiiiiiiight.....

Oh lord, there you go again with the popularity of games and ignoring the fact that no indie cie can make a game like XIV.
