Bots in Limsa are making my game awful! :mad:

Hey, the amount of bots your bosses allow is lagging the area. It's now a technical issue. Fix the lag or remove the bots. Either way, it's killing OP's framerate!

It is not true. The game client has an occlusion detection mechanism. It discards things, that are not visible to the player.

Thinking non-graphically - and that some have lower bandwidth than others - have you, by chance, run Wireshark yet to look if you are getting all their position updates?

I just found out, that we have them too in Limsa / Twintania under the Aetheryte. 22 Lalas, Level 2, all afk.

Last I checked on Cactuar, there was over 50 of them.

Limsa is now consistently getting bad FPS for me even in the dead hours of the night so I can only assume it's because they're still putting load on the GPU despite not being in line of sight.

Well, since making it something that cannot be ignored is the only way to make a company do something, i'd say no, it's not bad. It's just the sad reality we live in.
