Housing: Square Enix is failing to accomplish what Lord of The Rings Online did in 07

I guess the biggest weakness of the housing system as it is is if a house is blown up and you don't get to the salvager in time you will lose all of your furniture. That and you can't save house layouts.

With faster turnover and less friction in getting set back up again, people might throw less of a fit when they lose an estate. Instanced housing is obviously ideal, but if there are limitations blocking that-- easier to lose and easier to regain are the second-best options. Revocation of the grandfathering of multi-estate accounts and vanity FC estates might also be necessary.

It's really hard to tell what's "best" in this situation without metrics, though.
