With faster turnover and less friction in getting set back up again, people might throw less of a fit when they lose an estate. Instanced housing is obviously ideal, but if there are limitations blocking that-- easier to lose and easier to regain are the second-best options. Revocation of the grandfathering of multi-estate accounts and vanity FC estates might also be necessary.

That's not the worst of it, but it doesn't help matters at all, no. Most furniture, provided it's not novelty items or stuff you buy off the Mogstation, can easily be re-acquired. The real scary thing there is that you're actually losing out on stuff you bought with real money.

Then you need to find a new plot out of a public raffle and hope you get it. Who knows when that'll happen. Could happen today, in half a year or whenever Square wants to add in new worlds. And again, that's because this housing system is designed with a limited supply in mind, rather than allowing you to have a house altogether.
