My "odd point" is that people dont take you seriously and why that may be. If you dont feel that's the case then I wonder why we are having this discussion in the first place.
Can't even keep their story straight...
I am continually impressed by the OF's ability to squabble over everything.
Anyhoo, I'd be down for one of these icons. Why not? With how little people seem to want to communicate in dungeons, this could be a quick head's up that some iffy things may go down.
Maybe not an icon, but a note like the one that tells you when there are new players in a dungeon. Have one that says "One or more players are new to this dungeon with their roles."
It was people squabbling with me. The same suspects in every thread.
Hmmm, I like that. Subtle, yet still alerts the party. Maybe just have a box you can click for when you're not feeling overly confident when queuing.
Some people on PF will likely go haywire because you joined as a class that you hadn't cleared on yet. A lot of people are good at a given role and can thus provide a decent performance even if they aren't on a job they haven't cleared the instance with. And that might just cause unnecessary friction. Alternatively someone might just misread it for the "One or more players are new to this instance" line. Plus, it's not like this note has stopped people from going gung-ho in dungeons anyway. It's a nice idea, but it needs to be expanded upon a little, because it must be visible and it needs to work in people's favor.

People will either get used to it or they won't.
It's a good idea.
Maybe you lose it when you hit the first EW dungeon?
And of course, make it a toggle, so people won't be offended by being forced to wear learner plates.

Naw bruh, just use your words. Just like how returner status is very hit or miss indicator. Don't need another, just don't be a dick and expect perfection for duty finder. It's an MMO, don't hide away from player to player communication.
