That definitely isn't true. If you think that then you are just misunderstanding the release dates.

SE has been extremely consistent and made everything on time except 5.3 and 6.0, which are the only things I've ever seen them delay in the entire time the game has run.

It's also completely intentional and scheduled for some of the major patch content to be released in minor patches such as 6.2, 6.21, 6.25 and 6.28. It's not the least bit delayed.

Right now, the entire world, which isnt just America tbh, is still reeling from major issues with chipset shortages and semiconductor production problems. COVID brought those to a slam stop, and it will take time to regain headway, staffing REMAINS a major problem worldwide.

Optimistic projections say maybe first quarter 2023 to get up to even a modicum of speed, clearing the backlog and rebalancing the HUGE supply vs demand chaos?

Deloitte says mid 2023 , my gut call says close to last quarter 2023. I also have to note that what is being produced is going to things that are far more important..like the TCAS systems for airliners.
