That definitely isn't true. If you think that then you are just misunderstanding the release dates.

SE has been extremely consistent and made everything on time except 5.3 and 6.0, which are the only things I've ever seen them delay in the entire time the game has run.

It's also completely intentional and scheduled for some of the major patch content to be released in minor patches such as 6.2, 6.21, 6.25 and 6.28. It's not the least bit delayed.

I'm sure some people are, but I'm relatively pleased with it so far.

I enjoyed the main release, and I've liked most of the content released after. It's not all perfect, and as a bit of a casual, I'd say the streamlining of some jobs is definitely going too far, but on the whole I'm still having fun.

Plus I'm looking forward to finally getting a new deep dungeon to explore, and I'm also looking forward to the savage 4 man stuff.

If you're not having fun, take a break. I don't play XIV to the exclusion of all else, which probably helps keep it relatively fresh for me.

Not sure how you can say that; The game has been predictable like clockwork since maybe 3.0. They've only ever had delays due to Covid, and even then they've settled quickly into an easily predictable-albeit adjusted- release schedule. What part of that hasn't been on time?

That is not connected to content release schedule at all; that's just a "whataboutism". If you had been keeping up, you'd know there was a chip shortage, delaying the acquisition of physical servers.

Whether you liked what was provided or not, (aka housing lotto), stuff released on time. No need to move goal posts.

Should have mentioned earlier but one of my biggest problem with ShB and EW is that the jobs are just so bad now that no content feel fulfilling because everything is built upon the foundation of the jobs

The healing role has been dead for nigh on 2 expansions, we have 1 tank with 4 flavours and the DPS just get worse every expansion, the 5 ranged classes are treated like garbage, SMN got lobotomised, the 6 melee classrs all play exactly the damn same except BLM and they don’t even have to fight for melee uptime anymore.

All the jobs revolve around the boring as hell 2 minute meta, no matter how good the content is with how bad the jobs are I just can’t get any enjoyment out of anything

Considering we've always been drip-fed content in this way all these years, no; not really.

Try thinking about the content we don't have yet that we will have before 7.0, and that might help a bit.

What's still to come before 7.0:

• The rest of Island Sanctuary - what we just got is the "introduction phase" - let that sink in for a minute.
• A new Deep Dungeon
• The two new dungeon systems
• Part3 of the current 8-man Raid
• Parts 2 & 3 of the current 24-man Alliance Raid
• Lvl 90 Relics + Story quests for said relic
• the 2nd and 3rd Beast Tribes for this expansion
• More Trial fights and their savage mounts
• The meta Trial savage mount quest
• New dungeons

And this is probably the short list considering we really don't know everything they plan on patching in before 7.0

If people want to look back on Endwalker and say they were disappointed, that's fine, but wouldn't it make sense to wait until ALL of Endwalkers' content is patched in before making that judgement? :O

They come to the forum to complain. They live to complain. Nothing you or I do will change that. If they were playing another game they would do the same. Endwalker was and is phenomenal. This is coming from someone playing the game for 10+ years. These people are in the very vocal minority. I guarantee you they play the game all day regardless of their complaints.
