Anyone else just feeling really disapointed this expansion?*vent*

Considering we've always been drip-fed content in this way all these years, no; not really.

Try thinking about the content we don't have yet that we will have before 7.0, and that might help a bit.

What's still to come before 7.0:

• The rest of Island Sanctuary - what we just got is the "introduction phase" - let that sink in for a minute.
• A new Deep Dungeon
• The two new dungeon systems
• Part3 of the current 8-man Raid
• Parts 2 & 3 of the current 24-man Alliance Raid
• Lvl 90 Relics + Story quests for said relic
• the 2nd and 3rd Beast Tribes for this expansion
• More Trial fights and their savage mounts
• The meta Trial savage mount quest
• New dungeons

And this is probably the short list considering we really don't know everything they plan on patching in before 7.0

If people want to look back on Endwalker and say they were disappointed, that's fine, but wouldn't it make sense to wait until ALL of Endwalkers' content is patched in before making that judgement? :O

I mean EW is basically just a carbon copy of ShB from a content perspective, just trade the criterion dungeons and deep dungeon for ShB exploration zone and DRS and trade island sanctuary for ishgard restoration and the two are basically exactly the same

Exactly. It's not about the list of content being released, it's about the quality of the content in that list.

Also to add to that issue is the fact that SE is really, really bad about not getting content and updates out on time.

That definitely isn't true. If you think that then you are just misunderstanding the release dates.

SE has been extremely consistent and made everything on time except 5.3 and 6.0, which are the only things I've ever seen them delay in the entire time the game has run.

It's also completely intentional and scheduled for some of the major patch content to be released in minor patches such as 6.2, 6.21, 6.25 and 6.28. It's not the least bit delayed.

Right now, the entire world, which isnt just America tbh, is still reeling from major issues with chipset shortages and semiconductor production problems. COVID brought those to a slam stop, and it will take time to regain headway, staffing REMAINS a major problem worldwide.

Optimistic projections say maybe first quarter 2023 to get up to even a modicum of speed, clearing the backlog and rebalancing the HUGE supply vs demand chaos?

Deloitte says mid 2023 , my gut call says close to last quarter 2023. I also have to note that what is being produced is going to things that are far more important..like the TCAS systems for airliners.

IDK if Deep dungeons was confirmed but if so cool
One of the things Im looking forward to hope its good
I mean if your a savage raid or like the story I am the former but I don't get hype for it
Another Grind that will be hard gated
Another grind that will be hard gated
Mount farming is something to do not something I get excited for
Still haven't been impressed by any of the dungeons

These are my views on the content not facts so if anyone likes this stuff I don't judge
As for the expansion its ok still feels like ShB so far but I'll be here waiting to see something more

They come to the forum to complain. They live to complain. Nothing you or I do will change that. If they were playing another game they would do the same. Endwalker was and is phenomenal. This is coming from someone playing the game for 10+ years. These people are in the very vocal minority. I guarantee you they play the game all day regardless of their complaints.
