It's incredibly unlikely though because we've seen highly skilled players struggling with the DPS check of P8 due to the job they play. What I suspect is they test fights at max ilvl and rescale accordingly. Hence why they didn't notice how significant the job balance discrepancy was. They COULD be right, since we don't know their job makeup for the fight, nor whether they did it at minimum ilvl or not. I'd prefer if they'd test at minimum ilvl with every job makeup, but that may take too long (and require them to actually play jobs we know they don't play, like DRK or SCH).
The Doorboss wouldn't be an issue whatsoever if nearly half the jobs weren't in a terrible state right now.
Because job balance doesn't matter in dungeons where we're hilariously overgearing them even at release? Meanwhile, in raid content, Warrior was nearly 500 DPS behind Dark Knight and Gunbreaker. Literally nothing it offers makes up for such a massive difference. No, not even Holmgang.

Check two more off on "changes that completely miss the point" bingo.
On a pure potency basis, PLD seems like it can do more than GNB over 60 seconds, at least until the second Bloodfest and every 120s after it where GNB would make up for the difference. Can't speak for crit, dh or differences in the effect of skill speed on PLD where half the rotation isn't affected by it.
In other news, there is no technical debt from 1.0.
"We don't have ... a technological issue that was carried over from 1.0, because ARR was meant to kind of discard what we had from 1.0 and rebuild it from the engine."

Instead of buffing PLD and WAR, they should really nerf GNB and DRK. Tanks are almost doing same amount of DPS as the weakest DPS class. With 1 week of delay on savage, there is literally no DPS check at all. People already start skip mechanics and cheese the fight with healer lb3 and tank lb3 in Day 2. If that is the case, what is the point to design the fight?
Savage is not casual content. Player need to work hard, try to optimize and understand their class in order to meet DPS check. Savage now can have 3 or even 4 people die and still clear it. I do see DPS player do not pot or use crappy food and still clear the fight. Then what is the point of having new food and pot?
Majority of people are facing trapping issue in party finder not cuz of DPS check is cuz the skill level of average player base is really low, people can not do mechanics, and 3 pull disband.....
I personally feel that doing PF in this tier is a lot of harder than before, I even need to travel to aether datacenter to raid, cuz both primal and crystal datacenter are really dead, and nerfing savage (non-causal) content in 2 weeks is kind of fast

Don't forget that GnB has all it's burst in the 2 minute buff windows while paladin's dps is split between their FoF and Req windows, of which only one falls into raid buffs.
