    With EW we essentially got a 3rd quasi drill and honestly it's too much. It has made the rotation feel more monotone and boring in my opinion on a pure feel basis cause it has devalued pressing actual Drill. Like outside the visual chainsaw and anchor don't feel like they have a particularly strong skill identity so it feels like I'm just pressing more drills in ew which has raised the cadence of feeling like I'm pressing it to a point where it's monotone. Really at that point I think I would have preferred a different heat blast finisher or anything really.
    It's definitely discouraging to know we're stuck on this version until 7.0 but oh well I guess the only hope we have is a full redesign.
    I actually kinda' like it. I think it needs a much louder and better sound effect, but especially in dungeons when you Reassemble Chainsaw a full group of enemies it is immensely satisfying. I also like that it generates 20 battery so we can summon the queen more often.

    I do agree MCH needs a Heat Blast finisher.

    I agree that chainsaw was not the great addition the dev team thought it would be but I’m also never a fan of forcing an aoe skill into a single target rotation. Plus throughout Shadowbringers every mch who said SE should add chainsaw gave multiple interesting ways to implement Chainsaw and ultimately they just went with the most tacked on version possible. And it made MCH feel clunky

    We've been on it again and again, but it's much better to have ability with splash effect rather than Single Target and AoE on two different buttons.
    Easy example: Can you tell me how many times you pressed Bio Blaster rather than Drill in Pandaemonium or any of the EX trial?

    AoE&ST variant just take spaces on your hotbar in these content. The irony is that those content are the most combat oriented and they don't take advantage of the full kit.
    And is it a satisfying choice to press Bio Blaster rather than Drill? Is there actually any decision making? No, it's on Pokemon PvE level gameplay. Fire is weak to Water, use water move.

    Thought we agree on Chain saw, it has so many problems in name alone.
