


AoE wise, HW MCH was grenado shot spam, Bishop and 60s Ricochet.
SB MCH was Spread shot spam, Bishop, 60s Ricochet and one annoying Flamethrower.
EW MCH is Shotgun/ACB spam + Bio Blaster + Chain Saw + 30s Ricochet (And Flamethrower if you love not playing)
AoE is the best than any previous iterations.
At least RPR Enshroud has control over it. At least it's not "press and forget", I believe many of us can agree that Hypercharge should've been like Enshroud.
IMO, the best rework of the Queen would be to make it ranged and behave like Phoenix/Bahamut.
I'm actually curious if anyone likes the Automaton Queen after ShB rework shine is gone. And if so, simply why.
I'm torn on it. Thematically I love the Queen... is nice to see a robot pelting the enemy. Mechanically... Another concept I ran through my head lately was if battery could be generated in tandem with the Queen active in a way that would extend her stay on the field, and some sort of optimization coming from trying to stretch it as much as possible or something like that. But it would require a revision of battery generation anyways.
It would be nice if MCH's hypercharge builds up to something big. There is nothing to look forward to at the end of the rotation, which is a little boring.
Eg: 2x Hypercharges unlocks a new powerful flashy 1000pot skill

glad i'm not the only one that feels the same way. I just hope the rework would at least pick a specific direction for MCH, be it through AQ or Guns. my hope is that they bring back Rook Turrets, for AOE and Single Targets rather than using a swiss army gun that is a flamethrower, gas weapon, crossbow, Drill, Chainsaw. I would also love to see interaction between the skills too, like Bioblaster + flamethrower = aoe DoT
at least something creative, from what we've seen so far is quite boring.

The most visually interesting thing about Queen is ironically the part that deals the least damage. Aesthetically, my enjoyment of the Queen would rise exponentially if it did nothing but shoot ranged missiles and Crowned Collider/Pile Bunker were replaced by Roller Dash as the finisher because at least then I'd be way more likely to notice when it's timing out.
Gameplay wise though, Queen is just a dead-end.

I dont mind if they make the Queen works exactly the same as Bahamut/Phoenix whereby we can control when to do the big attack ourselves.

I know it's not all the changes but seriously, the job needs a lot more communication than that.
Especially when other jobs gets more than 1 line, or an actually important line.
There is a lot of feedback that has been communicated since 6.0 and even before. MCH is among the job with the most feedback.
I hope to see more but also ready to see a massive disappointment at patchnote release.
Idk the order of operations but I don’t personally think MCH will get jack Sh*t but minor potency buffs. I’m very much on the brink of loosing faith in the devs ability to craft organic job mechanics as they just keep doing dummer things like removing mechanics from SAM to make room for the zero skills it’s getting in 6.1, god only knows wtf it’ll do to tarnish DRG as it (by the devs definition) also has button bloat when in reality it’s pretty standard as jobs go.Would have loved that MCH got more than 1 line basically saying "potency buff" in the LL.

but I’ve said this many times but MCH simply won’t improve with minor changes, it’s roots are flawed and cornered and needs to be unearthed and or expanded upon, while in reality they’ll just remove Reassemble and have drill Crti automatically or somthing even more incomprehensible



MCH DPS is being increased by roughly 2.4%.
Nothing was reworked, Heatblast is still on a timer despite Bloodweapon being now on charge, no Automaton Queen AI improvement noted.
