    The devs are clearly focusing on the turret/AQ, but there is no support for the battery gage outside of the 3 attacks that build it. Even the heat gage has barrel stabilizer. Then there is the issues that have been plaguing the job for years. The wf burst window is extremely ping dependant which has been an ongoing issue. The 2 gages don't synergize at all and feels very disjointed.

    Anytime any of these issues have been brought up it's "we didn't know these issues existed" or "I guess we have to talk about mch now". It's becoming apparent that the devs don't care avout the job, how to fix it, or know what direction to take it in. When they act like they don't care about the job at live letters or ignore known issues it's very disheartening.

    Easy fix would be Gauss Round and Richochet charge Battery. EZ

    So while you spend your GCD's building heat you build battery at the same time.

    Another issue that makes no sense is Heat Blast refreshing your oGCDs but Autocrossbow doesn't and ruins the flow of things.

    You could completely replace the battery gauge with something else, put a 60s CD on AQ and you'd get pretty much the same thing but better.
    That's the thing with the battery gauge, it's a glorified cooldown that doesn't tick when MCH can't attack.

    On paper it's good, in practice it's... It's terrible since MCH is punished by content design and not adjusted accordingly.
    DRK LS works and is slightly more interesting because it's tied to the blood gauge. This gauge has more uses beyond Living Shadow.

    MCH's battery is entirely dedicated to AQ and the design of MCH makes that it's basically stuck with AQ, unless battery generation would go crazy.
    The Automaton Queen is really a problem, everything tied to it is a problem, its AI is (slightly less) a problem, its use gets repetitive and boring.
    I'm not sure if I start to be biased against the Automaton Queen.

    I don't care much for AQ. I would have preferred a G-Warrior Mech mode. My love of MCH comes from all the Gadgets and the Multi-tool weapon.

    The MSQ only G Warrior battle was so hype.

    Honestly be biased against it. It’s not interesting it’s a shiny DoT that if you even glance past the “ooooh flashy robot” you can see how lackluster it is as a “job mechanic”

    And add onto it the years of devs ignoring the real issues with the job and playerbase, the fact that we have meh dps and a "simple" rotation while also having the second highest bpm. It's hard to love mch. Look at any thread on here or reddit that pertains to us and you can see tons of ways the job could be better it makes you wonder why the devs said "There's really no where to take mch." or something along those lines. Clearly there are problems, clearly there are tons of ways and ideas they could implement that would make the job better without it becoming "OP". Yet, its patch after patch and expansion after expansion where nothing really changes for an overall positive. They took away our turrets, took away what little utility we had and gave us a glorified dot that doesn't feel like your doing anything big. Every other job capstone abilities are exciting and feel like a big move for them. I mean even our LB3 is kinda meh comparative to the other jobs. Yeah its a big cool laser beam but look at Brds arrow storm and dnc fan dance dash, (i know those arent the names), they are big grand animations. Also how did we go from helicopter turrets, to a full on futuristic AQ for capstone and giant laser turret for LB. It just seems like we're missing a lot of technology between rook and AQ.

    I never minded the bullets either, the balance of heat/overheating was kinda awkward to get down but it wasn't that bad. I enjoyed the turrets, they pushed out a little extra dmg but they gave a lot of flavor to the job. I also cant stand the new summoner, why is my carbuncle just sitting there doing nothing. If sch can have fairies that do auto heals, why cant mch and sum have "pets" that do small amounts of consistent dmg? Dont necessarily need to go into what I think the jobs mechanics should be, but incorporating things that worked from SB mch and whats working now, would fix a lot of the issues that the player base overall seems to have. But threads like this and the resounding negative critiques from the Sam base and lack of acknowledgment just kinda show that most of the feedback we give is ignored

    We've been 1 week in the tier and just 10 MCH managed to clear compared to 300 DNC.
    DNC is broken on this patch but it was already very good while MCH was very weak.

    DNC benefits a lot from downtime due to being cooldown burst based and its natural cleave makes it win in any multi target content.
    If there was any adds in this tier, DNC would've destroyed any existing competition. But there is no competition.
    DNC also has very strong shield/healing utility in this tier where healing/shield has never been that valuable.

    Then we need to talk about ranged & caster damage.
    Let's be real, melees have full uptime in any of the 4 floors. There are few situations where you could possibly lose a GCD or two but this tier has been extremely generous with melees. To the point where they play like actual ranged jobs.

    The balance team should really look at MCH and ask themselves "How MCH can compete against X job in Y content?".
    As of today, MCH doesn't bring anything to the table other than lower damage.
