NEVER go full Nintendo. lolBeyond that, Square Enix and their legal team need to start doing the dirty work if they want datamining and leaks to have a lesser impact on the game. That ultimately means taking legal action against the people involved in doing the mining itself and distributing the content. For example, using DMCA takedowns on any streamer that openly covers a leak BEFORE the content is available in game or using DMCA takedowns to have the tweets removed (in this recent savage datamine, some images of the new savage animations were shared on Twitter). It's one area where SE need to take ownership and slam down the hammer regardless of who it hits.
