    When we do get new characters, I hope they are well written and not just a Checklist character to cater to some old school cast.
    Im more interested in that then some random Charming Thief.

    Fordola would be more interesting then some Balthier or Locke clone archetype. Or some revival of old Thancred.

    Agreed. Nostalgia can be a powerful tool, but it can also flood and dilute what makes the game great if they are not careful.
