Crafter's Shortchanged in Buried Memory

Always a pleasure opening up a new release and checking out the goodies. My RDM got a new weapon, new gear and new accessories. Nice. And my crafters got . . . nada. No new tools, no new gear, no new accessories. Even the new Master X culinary recipes have nothing for crafters but plenty of new consumables for DPS, etc. At the same time, crafter's got a lot of new, harder recipes to craft. By comparison with DPS'ers that's like releasing new harder dungeons but without corresponding better gear - they can only use their old gear.

Now, this is not a whine thread cause I cannot craft the new recipes - have made a half dozen 610 HQ weapons and gear no problem. Just saying I would like to look under the XMAS tree and see some presents.

Pactmaker is more than enough to craft the new gear, we don't need an upgrade yet. We'll be getting one in 6.3. If you are having issues making stuff currently, fix your melds (if you aren't pentamelded to start, that's your problem) and find a macro. I'd suggest learning how to actually craft as well without them but who actually learns how to craft anymore...

my question is.. you give christmas gifts at thanksgiving? I say you spoil your 5 year old since your analogy is not comparable to the thanksgiving one. but I guess your call on giving your child expectations.

personally, I didnt feel "shortchanged" since the new things for crafting showed up when I expected them in the patch cycle. since you have been here so long.. thats when you should have expected them too.

The pattern for crafting gear has been pretty much about the same since 2.1 onwards. You can figure out the pattern and prepare for future patches.
