Then you should know that crafters weren't shortchanged. You can't have it both ways

That's kinda irrelevant. You could for as much as we know be new to crafting in the game. You could register your profile and never used the forum before etc. Looking at your post history, you're not a very active poster so it's not far fetched for people to assume you, indeed are not familiar with it.
The join date is kinda bleh, to begin with. Mine says 2018 but I'm a 1.0 player.
