Crafter's Shortchanged in Buried Memory

Always a pleasure opening up a new release and checking out the goodies. My RDM got a new weapon, new gear and new accessories. Nice. And my crafters got . . . nada. No new tools, no new gear, no new accessories. Even the new Master X culinary recipes have nothing for crafters but plenty of new consumables for DPS, etc. At the same time, crafter's got a lot of new, harder recipes to craft. By comparison with DPS'ers that's like releasing new harder dungeons but without corresponding better gear - they can only use their old gear.

Now, this is not a whine thread cause I cannot craft the new recipes - have made a half dozen 610 HQ weapons and gear no problem. Just saying I would like to look under the XMAS tree and see some presents.

You got Pactmaker in 6.1. Pactmaker hasn't been required to use for anything until 6.2. If there was new better sets for crafters in 6.2, that would would have meant pactmaker would have been mostly a waste of time. People would be angry.

The less updates the better, so we don't have to keep blowing materia on pentamelds.

(I think this is more about having component crafts contained to a single macro )

Ah another forum post complaining over the way things have worked since arr. DoL/DoH gear drop every other patch that isn't savage. You're complaining over a pile of nothing.

DoH/L is usually updated at .1, and .3

We just got new gear in 6.1 and will most likely get new gear in 6.3

Except you ARE complaining that Crafters/gatherers have gotten nothing new. We get our stuff in the off season so we're not scrambling to gear up crafters/gatherers the same patch we need to be making new battle gear, food, and pots.

Say your 5-year old says 'I wish to see presents under the tree at XMAS.' Thats a wish not a complaint. See the difference?
