If nothing else I just hope that in 7.0 we get a main story that doesn't generate 680+ pages worth of critique. There were errors in Endwalker. Acknowledging and remedying them is the best way to move forward and to create something better in the future.

However, given that some players are eager to shut down discussions that go against the prescribed reading of the story it is very difficult to get the feedback out there that isn't immediately followed up with different variations of some of the comments already posted here.

I would gladly recommend the story of Heavensward or Shadowbringers to anyone. I would not do so for Endwalker. Understand the reasons why people feel this way, and maybe 7.0 will be something that doesn't cause such controversy.

That you think that that those pages in any way represents more than 0.0000000001% of anyone, is where you keep making the same mistake.

When you cease this mantra that you 'speak for many" or that "there is general consensus" etc, maybe you will have more to say that others want to hear.

You are missing the point. The memoriant, the ones even capable of this, are supposed to be dead. ALL of them. Thats the x factor, the one thing they didnt expect, didnt account for. Voidsent cannot die, but they CAN be permanently crystallised.

The balance of power has shifted...oddly enough because of Zenos. In death, he handed us a deadly weapon.

Let's balance it out by crystallising some of the Scions, then. Permanently.

I really hope we see a major death for a character of importance soon. Something to show that the new storyline isn't going to pull any punches and to truly shake things up as we enter the game's second era.

Many of the people posting in the thread in question have been invested in the game and discussing the story and worldbuilding for almost as long as the game as existed. To pretend as if their opinions are irrelevant or a minority - especially with the usual rabid attempts to handwave any criticism as some sort of extreme position - strikes me as rather counterproductive.

Also not too sure why you and certain other posters insist on pointing out that a poster's contributions to the forum are a personal opinion. Once again I will point it out - nobody is obligated to post disclaimers alongside each and every post.

The fact that you and other certain people are still posting here sharing your grievances proves this is nonsense. Nobody is being shutdown.
Disagreement and opposite opinions is not 'Shutting down Discussion' nobody has that power except an Admin or a Mod
Also there are PLENTY of people who agree with you. and arent afraid to show support.

Wanna know how you can stop this?...by being clear the 1st time, and saying IMO. Words like "Many People" is not voicing YOUR opinion.
