If nothing else I just hope that in 7.0 we get a main story that doesn't generate 680+ pages worth of critique. There were errors in Endwalker. Acknowledging and remedying them is the best way to move forward and to create something better in the future.

However, given that some players are eager to shut down discussions that go against the prescribed reading of the story it is very difficult to get the feedback out there that isn't immediately followed up with different variations of some of the comments already posted here.

I would gladly recommend the story of Heavensward or Shadowbringers to anyone. I would not do so for Endwalker. Understand the reasons why people feel this way, and maybe 7.0 will be something that doesn't cause such controversy.
