Sweet another dungeon we can stack 4 Warrior's, 4 White Mage's, 3 Bard's, and 5 Black Mage's in.

There is a difference between best way, and only way. Most of the content in XI could be done with different jobs than people used, but no one wanted to risk beastseals, or pop items on less tried and true strategies. Sort of like how you could beat airship with any solid party setup and a lot of luck or be guaranteed to destroy it with 5 black mages and a tank.
