They couldn't get it perfect for this server but they provided an easy solution. Failure to use this solution is just failure on your part. Don't blame a game for your incompetence. If you can't adapt, play something expendable like a melee dps. At least that way your party wont be hurt because you're too prideful to use the /facetarget button/macro.

fact: Its not an issue. It really isn't. Ppl run away and heal just fine. Run away and nuke just fine. Lots of ppl do. Gamepads or keyboards. If its such a problem for you, then that problem is personal. You are doing something wrong. Ask ppl who dont have problems what they're doing, and imitate. If you refuse to do this, then you have no business complaining, and no business playing a game in constant development. Stop the QQ. Yes its inconvenient to add a line in your macro, no it doesn't affect you all that much. /facetarget, /ac "spell of doom", have fun.
way to jump to the ignorant conclusion that this has anything to do with running around and not casting. that is not what it's about at all. when you are in your spot and throw the first 2 items in your combo and haven't moved during the process then get the

you cannot perform the action at this time
you cannot perform the action at this time

you cannot perform the action at this time
it goes off.

that is not anything to do with movement. that is bad coding and implementation. the problem is not the movement, but the bugs and errors that came along with it that should have been fixed before it was put in. yes, they added a work around for the issue(/facetarget), but a work around for a bad game design is still a bad game design regardless.

you sit here and say there's nothing wrong and then say it will be fixed in 2.0..... kind of an ignorant and hypocritical statement because if nothing is wrong then there is nothing to fix.
