They never said that the glow was exclusive to Savage. The main issue with this is that the savage sets will now be barely different as dyes won't stand out as much due to the VFX being the main focus of the sets.
Also, by making the normal armor glow, it seems they've locked us out of having a version without the VFX.
Glamour without restrictions* is long overdue!
If you think so too, help keep the thread going!

I'm saying that set should have been exclusive to savage. It creates engagement of content and brings people to try content they normally wouldn't have and it creates a uniqueness to a set that shows that you cleared said content. This is how MMO's used to work, and its a shame many of them have moved away from it. Unique gear from difficult content is a good thing. Making cool looking armor easily obtainable kills the value of it.

Are people actually against cool glamours being accessible to more people?
Mortal Fist

Of course they are, whether it's right or not. People love their exclusive shinies. I'll be honest though; I was very surprised to see the glow available to everyone. Again, not complaining, just surprised.

I strongly disagree, the value in cool looking armor comes from it looing cool. If you can only enjoy something because other people can't have it then maybe something is wrong with how you think.I'm saying that set should have been exclusive to savage. Bleh. What's the point of having a glow if you're stuck with black? I was hoping it was Savage exclusive so we could actually dye our gear for once.
Its no longer interesting when everyone is wearing it. Making something unique would set a goal for players who want it and creates content engagement.

tbh I would have preferred that normal mode didn't have the effects simply because I like the armor more without it.
