New savage raid gear has weapon and armour effects. Thoughts?

If savage gear looks better than Relics then i'll be a bit annoyed.

In this version of FF relics are more of a casual thing. So to have savage weapons look better than relics meh ok. It’s good to reward people for working hard either way. Relics are just more grindy, and savage is just more practice and skill.

Most content in the game is made for casual players, they even decided to release tomestones a week earlier as to not upset the casual playerbase. Most good glamours are also obtainable by casual players. I'm not sure how that makes us raiders spoiled brats. You'll also be able to obtain a version of this armor that isn't dyable just by doing the normal raids, which anyone can do.

Personally not too fond of the ones with large shoulder pads, since they tend to be oversized/floating on anything other then roes.

If I was still debating on doing Savage for gear and weapons, I am no longer debating now. They look pretty good. Consider me incentivized.

Consider me incentivized as well. First they get me to do pvp for the cool armor set that isn't job restricted and now this. Looks like I'll be raiding savage next patch.

I wonder if they have a new designer in the house. Gear looks better this expansion and I see some elements from World of Warcraft like the shoulder pads and the matching glow on the head and shoulders. It's so good! That's something I've missed ever since I came to this game from WoW in 2015. And I think haters will survive having a grand total of 3 glowing armor sets in the game.
