I completely disagree. SE has a nasty habit of making races that are just humans with ears of who knows what. The only real race is Hrothgar. Otherwise, remove the ears and tail (if any) and everyone turns into Hyur.

I want my ears. I'm not satisfied with a job poorly done like that, no.

So what do you propose then ? Should they just cut out holes on every full plate helmet ? It really doesn't look good on heavy armor.
