Now that we are on it, do Hrothgar have any long hairstyles?

It's not one of my favourites either, but if we want everything I've just got to accept I won't like them all (because I definitely don't like them all already.) I'm also just not a big fan of face 2 male Viera which is the face in this image. It's so small and babyish. Face 3 is *chef kiss*.

Only Saintly Style confirmed for now (in the liveletter), but it seems likely the pattern will continue into 6.3.

viera are getting the roxas hairstyle (saintly ie the ericthonios hair) in 6.3 as one mviera was wearing it in the new alliance gear pics they showed. Nothing else new seen yet tho.

Hoping to god they have a hrothgar in the artoriel hair and rainmaker in the patch notes if the assumption I've seen on the forums that we're getting 6.1 viera styles FINALLY, those are my faves from that lineup and I wanna see them already

not...really. Runarstyle is very spiky and wild but I wouldn't say "long" no hroth base style is long.
None we got in 6.1 are long either so the closest to long are the two island sanctuary ponys from 6.2.
Artoriel and the "Jesus" hair mviera got in 6.1 would be the longest we will have access to, unless 6.3 adds two hairs as well, one besides the new incredibly short cut that some highlander wore in previews.
I'd love to ASSUME we'll finally get hien or hildas styles from the IS update but its looking unlikely.

The new Havensturn event is about to start and give us a 4 piece glamour. I personally like that I will be able to use the rewards this year, the outfit looks amazing, not as nice as the one from Tataru's great endeavour, but really nice looking! Before not only I couldn't use the hat, but the house items too, since I don't have a house. I was participating in the event either way, but it felt at points like a waste of time. But now I am genuinely excited about it and can't wait to participate!

With that said I have seen a handful of people blaming Viera and Hrothgar for not receiving a helmet as well with this outfit. Or that the hats had a better charm and because of these races that charm is being taken away.

What do you think about this?

The Heavensturn helmets are historically incredibly unpopular event items. I don't want to say nobody likes them because there has to be someone out there who likes everything, but I've personally never seen a single player use any of them and everyone I've spoken with seems stoked that we're getting a full glamour set and not a helmet. Viera/Hroth definitely aren't being blamed - sure, maybe they're being used as a potential (incorrect) justification, but that is not the same as being blamed.

The real reason we're getting an outfit is the Zodiac helmet set was completed as of last year's Tiger helm. There are no more helms to make and they wouldn't just re-release event items that have since been added to the online shop. Hroth and Viera had absolutely nothing to do with this decision.

Tbh I'm a little worried that they seem to rather not make head items at all than making something Hroths and Viera can wear.... though I may just be reading too much into it.

I can't think of an example that isn't this one case, tbh? All the Endwalker tomestone and raid gear either work directly on Viera/Hroth or have headgear that works on all the other races. Same with all the Endwalker event gear and Mogstation glamours. Imo this outfit is meant to go with the big collection of helmets that already exist, which sure, aren't bunny/catman compatible, but there's no shortage of options for those who can wear them.

If I was seeing a pattern I would be the first to point it out, but when it comes to Heavensturn it just seems like we have a massive pile of helmets already and they probably just decided to provide an outfit to match them.
