Absolute meme hours today; there are more than a handful of comments on the Hroth/Viera hair update complaining about how catgirls, hyurs, etc. haven't had enough hairstyle focus and they're putting too much time into buns and lionmen. Worse - they're begging for Viera exclusive locked hair and have been for a while. Frigging excuse me? We had to wait 3 years to use new Modern Aesthetics or even default hairstyles, yet apparently it's now the bulk of the playerbase (that has access to absolutely everything) wanting Viera hairstyles? Like yeah, I agree Viera has some racial exclusives that are a hell of a lot better than entire list of catgirl exclusives. I wouldn't even care if they shared the full list among all races one day, but this complaint just ain't it. Amusing though, I'll give it that.

Not to say "pics or it didn't happen", I very much expected such a reaction.

But... I'm really not seeing other players complain about it anywhere. Is it happening on other forums (Twitter, reddit, etc.)?

Cats asking for more glam options is pretty funny. They have literally every hairstyle and glam option in the game styled to fit them. A few things they can't have won't kill them.

I mean, you asked for pictures and a source! I'm just here to provide. I don't feel comfortable sharing usernames or threads (can be found easily), but yeah, just wanted to prove that it is happening. Of course it isn't every catgirl/hyur/whatever, but the sentiment is out there.

They are being catered to though, it's called literally the rest of the game Hrothgar and Viera do not have access to!

All the hairstyles, headgear, representation, NPCs, story focus, proper lore (bonus points if your lore doesn't amount to "but you can ignore this because everything got destroyed by fascists/you being outside your city means you no longer abide by it")

:P Funny how they only remembered we existed and actively supported us when their own racial traits got axed.

Not gonna lie, the "ugly rabbit" made me chuckle. I thought it was universally accepted that Viera are pretty. But sure, the "mere catgirls" played by 48-year-old dudes need more catering too! It's not like everything in this game is already catered to them, from glam to mount poses. But sure poor little forgotten catgirls got a total of 2 patches where they were not the epicentre of attention. Not like all the new hairstyles added are also available to them, as well as the hats, but let's forget about that, k?
And the racial hairstyle thing is pathetic honestly. You cannot have any other race-specific hairstyle if it's not your own's race. I remember them making the same kind of bickering when they realised they cannot have the F.roegadin-specific hairstyles. I am one of the people who like the Viera racial hair a lot, but I will never ask for it to be made available for other races, just like I didn't do it when female Roe were hated on for having cool long hair while the catgirls had didn't. (Jealousy much?)
Grow up, Viera and Hrothgar deserve this quality of life update and they deserve the future ones too, which will continue until the races will be completely implemented with access for both hair and headgear. Just like everyone else.

Is this on the forums or another platform? Regardless, it's pretty funny. Like sure you can have the Viera/Hrothgar racial hairs when 1. We get access to the hairstyles you have already and 2. When they will open all racial hairs for everyone.
Viera and Hrothgar had to wait for 3 years to have access to the hairstyles the others already have. Hrothgar had to wait until 6.1 to even be able to change their hairstyles without a fantasia. We get some hairstyles added every new patch to get at the same point as they are, by no means are they new or race specific for us, they are the hairstyles already in the game that their race already has access to. So how is that a problem? You need to be a special type of arse to see people getting some quality of life improvement after 3 years of being ignored and be upset over it.

But I do want to see what delusions they are spouting on this subject. Got my popcorn ready and everything!

Well, we've got one more hairstyle this time around that actually sort of fits Hrothgar on the way. Not completely (in my opinion) but sort of. Small victories. Still waiting on Wind Caller, SE.
