I did a Lunatic Classic playthrough of Awakening, but the temptation to grind in all that DLC was too strong, so I only finished it once. Not too keen on modern FE, though 3H was alright a few times through. I got the piss, err, golden title screen and all that jazz.

    What's a phoenix mode?

It was added in Fates (not sure offhand if Three Houses kept it or not). KO'd units auto-revive a round or two later to rejoin the fight. So unless you get completely wiped out in one turn (or meet another failure condition on some maps), it's nearly impossible to lose.

I tried Lunatic on Awakening, but I just don't have the patience for it. And I hear Lunatic+ is basically a luck-based mission with the skills that enemy units can randomly use.
