    Gameplay was better and had their unique stuff but patch after patch SE have been turning all the jobs almost irrelevant in terms of choices.

    I enjoyed the live letter. The story looks intriguing! The Void has always fascinated me, so I am looking forward to exploring it more. I know many would like to see it as a full expansion, but I think there is a lot one can do in the 6.x patches alone. Glad that it looks like we will get a new character to join our party, kinda feared we may have Thancred, Gra or the Twin backs already (I love them, but I wanna see new people too…) Very curious to see where the Raid story goes too. I suspect/hope we may get some unforseen twists. And yes, I too would like Evil Carby to be added to the Summoner rotation somehow!

    I missed much of what was said and shown about the new varient dungeons, but they look interesting, and it will be nice to see more experimentation with how dungeons and the like are played with. Curious to see how Nanamo will tie into it.

    Island Sanctuary looks a lot bigger and more interactive then I expected, and I am really looking forward to exploring and developing it when it launchs. It would be nice if they added a way for us to say, display outdoor furnishings but they have made no secret of the fact its not a replacement for housing (Thats its own mess that they do need to wort out sooner rather then later!) I hope they may add that option in the future… which brings me to my one worry for Island Sanctuary, which is that I hope its something they do continue to add over the coming patches/expansions and not just forgeten about once its out and done. I really like the idea of this more casual, relaxing activity and there is alot they can do with it. Cannot wait to see all my minions running about!

    Don't hold your breath on outdoor furnishings on the Island. Despite the fact that folks can easily spend more time out there than their own house, it's not meant as a straight up replacement. That's been said from the beginning. Placement of buildings and such seems very static, so there doesn't appear to be room for anything beyond that.

    Thats good to hear! Cheers for the info. Fingers corssed they keep adding to it in 7.0 and beyond too.

    Sadly gameplay design had lot of potential in ARR (meaningful 4men dungeons with actual strategies, raid bosses that had actual mechanics that didn't simply involve positionnals, actual tanking and healing gameplay with adds to handle during boss encounters)

    No it isn't. Class weren't that homogeneised in 2013 and healing/tanking gameplay wasn't in shamble as it is now (and refer to my prior statement related to content design, one only has to run LoB to convince themselves about the evolution in the gameplay).
