Request: Hempen Garb - Racial Unlock

It's a good thing that I did an image search for the hempen camise before making a purchase. The icon looked exactly like what I wanted for my Au Ra character but when I googled the image I found something that looked more like a negligee. It is beyond ridiculous that a particular item takes on such different appearances solely depending on which race is wearing it.

They previously said that they were looking in to doing exactly this, so all we can do is wait. The debate was in quite a long thread about the topic.

In a programming perspective, it would probably be better for them to create new items with the distinct hempen sets, to not mess with the old one. Maybe this could be an opportunity to glow up the textures from those items, like they did with the Virtu sets, since YP stated it would be a long-running project to do that with old items.

The hempen sets defnitely have zero reasons to be race-locked, and the limitation was probably an arbitrary idea back in ARR. I personally don't suddenly look towards a Lala and think "Wow, those geriatric panties and camisole look SO lalafell."

I too wish for a hempen unlock. I do not like the look of the au ra hempen camise at all.

I agree.

Racial locked gears makes sense when it is "traditional" gears.
The hempen is closer to "every day" gears and should not be locked.

Toupe tape. It was used in Star Trek (TOS), that's how I learned of it.
