No you are 100% deflecting away from people who are actively bad at this game by hiding them behind people with disabilities or age and the other poster is calling you out for it, people with said disabilities don’t want you to defend them for them, especially when a lot of them exceed what you believe they are capable of

Don’t use sweeping statements about groups we generally empathise with even if you are part of them in an attempt to deflect away from legit problems associated with other groups of people

You didn't bother to actually READ my posts, otherwise you would not have made erroneous conclusions about them. There are people like me who have difficulty completing MSQs due to our conditions and ages. That is a fact. Nobody is trying to hide behind anything. That is just your strange and twisted way of interpreting what was written. If the MSQs were to be made harder, some of us would not be able to complete them. At no point in any of my posts did I bring up ANYTHING about players who were just bad at the game. These idiotic strawman arguments that keep coming up are nonsensical.

I’m sorry but if the MSQ is pushing you to your legit limits maybe an MMO is not the type of genre for you, the MSQ is 90% of the games core content making it as simple as it is and even simpler is being selfish on the other end

No you bought up a condition that affects you, extrapolated it to the entire population of disabled and elderly and then tried to call Someone who was disabled but could clear savage a straw man, and like I said this is all to deflect that the OP doesn’t want to exclude you because you are old they want people to attempt to improve who are bad at the game by choice

I've never met a disabled person who plays this game and claims the MSQ would be impossible if they added a sprinkle of gameplay engagement.

I have encountered a whole lot of Forum Princesses too lazy to countenance actual gameplay hiding behind their fictional 140 year old grandfather because nothing must -ever- cause failure or hold up a mirror to their own laziness.

Well, congratulations, you've just encountered one such person (me) and I know of others who are like me (not surprising since most of my other friends are also elderly). We are not as uncommon as you might think. Unless that is, you are going to start claiming that I am a liar. Do you need my damned medical records to prove my existence to you?

I think what people are practically saying when they say they want MSQ content to be harder is not that we want light rampart or limit cut in MSQ, but just everything should hurt a bit more and healing to be more demanding.

Are you incapable of understanding English? I ask seriously because you have completely misrepresented what both Mosha and I have posted. Mosha brought up the strawman argument of me claiming that people of my ages and with disabilities didn't WANT harder content. I wrote NO SUCH THING. I wrote that some of us who are elderly and have conditions would not be ABLE to complete MSQs if they were made harder.

Did you miss the word "likely"? I know of some people my age who could probably zip through high end content. Not all of us can. I never claimed that people in my age category or level of disability were a monobloc. That was purely an interpretation (an incorrect one) on your part. The fact is, SOME players WILL get excluded if the MSQs were to be made more difficult. If you and others had simply asked for a hard mode to be included, I wouldn't have been so critical. No such distinction was offered however.

I wouldn't say OP is entirely wrong, I've been preaching how everything in the MSQ Quest including every single monster (with exceptions) in Zones and Dungeons were extremely pathetic in difficulty from ARR to EW. I'm getting tired of it, and I'm starting to think there is SE Executive Meddling going on that only cares about the numbers, and shafting everyone else that is not part of the equation because we're the minority that cares about a balanced challenge..for idk.

FUN? Can't have fun when its mindlessly easy.

Really don't understand how let down I was when the final EW boss was pathetic too, but instead you have to do the Extreme Trial for that.

I thought final bosses were suppose to be tough, but hell who cares I guess.

Did FFXI ruin the Dev's cereal so hard that they had to reduce everything down? Because this feels like a extreme backlash now.


I hope this new 6.2 is really going to change things around, and if not well lets just say I'm not going to be very happy.
