But it's the same with people who are fully abled or not elderly, some people can whereas others can't. my issue is that you're using it to try and validate your argument over others.Fine strawman argument you are making there. I said nothing of what other people who may be elderly or disabled, want. I said that some who are elderly and/or disabled would be excluded. Primarily because some of them would not be able to physically do the harder content. If you want an example of one such person, that would be me. I am elderly and have Parkinson's disease.
What an ridiculous conclusion that is. It is a FACT that some people will be excluded if the MSQ content is made harder. For some of us, the MSQ content is already at our limits. People WILL be excluded if the content is made harder. And your argument is....that's good? As long as you get your challenging content it's ok to exclude some of us? What a selfish person you are! There is already challenging content for you. Leave the MSQs alone so that more of us can play.
People absolutely love to deflect the subset of population who is actively bad by choice to people with disabilities or age, it’s a common situation on the OF’s and it’s frankly disgusting

First, what on Earth are you trying to say? Your post is making no sense. Can you tidy up the sentence a little? Second, you are responding to a post that was making a strawman argument. Read my response to that post for what I ACTUALLY said and meant.
No you are 100% deflecting away from people who are actively bad at this game by hiding them behind people with disabilities or age and the other poster is calling you out for it, people with said disabilities don’t want you to defend them for them, especially when a lot of them exceed what you believe they are capable of
Don’t use sweeping statements about groups we generally empathise with even if you are part of them in an attempt to deflect away from legit problems associated with other groups of people
It's strange. To me, it feels like they've gotten cheaper but not more difficult. I don't know when every dungeon boss mechanic started to give out vulnerability, but speaking as someone who goes in blind into all of them, seems they're all nearly "you got touched twice you die" even though they're not more complex or engaging.
I think so far ShB had better dungeon bosses/balance/mechanics with some exceptions. The first EW dungeon was fire though, really loved the hectic pace in that fight. I've just re-subbed so, might impression might change as I inevitably juggle my memory playing in the following days, but I remember having a similar thought in 6.0.
I saw a man complete savage content with his feet (because that's all he could use to play) on youtube way back when. Think of that how you will.

On another note; it's your boy! EnigmaticDodo, back again, once again with an incredibly hot doomer take!
This game is going to go the way of the casual. Full speed. Yoshida had said previously (paraphrasing), "that we're not going back to the heavensward like design". Pair this with Very Easy solo Duties, pair this with how free the game is as is, pair this with how they keep dumbing down everything, pair this with your own assessments, etc. etc.
I never wanted to give up on the idea of this game trying to cater to more than just the lowest common denominator, but you see what happens whenever you try to discuss anything promoting people getting better or increase difficulty in any facet. You get argued down until exhaustion and accomplish nothing. Also, the developers themselves are working against you.
Folks have suggested playing other games to me and others who share a sentiment of wanting the game to challenge us outside of just savage and ultimate content. I think that's a legitimate ask and a legitimate thing to do at this point if FF14 isn't doing it for you. It probably never will again, in terms of combat.

for a year, would you rather be secretly filmed at random moments and have the footage uploaded to your social media or loose $100 when ever you said a curse word?
I think so? Perhaps I misremembered. My bad on that if so. Either way, dude is a boss and doesn't seem to let circumstances get him down and prevent him from playing well!you mean him ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogCRNvghbiw
