Except the conclusions you were drawing weren't facts, but opinions. Let me re-quote you (my emphasis added):
So, you're straight up saying you don't believe them, then further insinuating that their issue is being bad, and closing with "if on the off-chance I'm wrong, then you shouldn't be posting here anyway." Every single thing about that is toxic."And I really don't believe you aren't jealous. Your post reeks of it. You say you aren't jealous and could do the hard content. I would be happy for you if you could because I encourage more people to challenge themselves ,but you haven't cleared any savage content, don't posses a single savage mount, have never cleared an ultimate and have hidden yourself on "you know where" and you're trying to make an argument that you can't possibly be jealous because you can do the content. Then why haven't you done it? Can only be because you either don't care to do it or aren't skilled enough as a player yet and if it's the former like you're trying to make it seem then you really shouldn't care enough to be arguing against harder content to begin with."
Also, let's not forget your initial post about it:
That one's even worse. You're not even allowing the possibility that someone just isn't interested in doing something. There's not even a single fact in there, despite you claiming there was.Good thing that said content is accessible to EVERYONE. If you don't like the fact that someone else can do it and you can't, then get better, and if you don't want to improve and learn to do it then let them have their hard content in peace while you remain casual. Ridiculous reason to gatekeep harder content being added because some people are jealous of the ones who do it.
The other part deals with the perceived "right" to post about something even if you're not personally interested in the content, and it's effectively the entire point being made. Some of us saw first-hand how just having a focus on M+ in WoW resulted in a significant influx of toxic players and the flight of the family-friendly atmosphere that had previously existed. Whether you do M+ or not now, you still experience the result in any group content, even more casual places like LFD/LFR. The playerbase itself changes when the focus of the game changes, and that impacts everyone. That's the concern being expressed here, and is thus completely relevant to anyone regardless of what content they prefer to do. The counter-argument to that becomes that the people focused on the more "competitive" content wouldn't be toxic, and yet you're here both advocating for that more "competitive" content and simultaneously being toxic.
