We don't really have anything to go by yet other than vague marketing statements. I'm just refusing to get my hopes up beyond cautious interest, personally.

yknow I wanna say "if the rewards are decent thats all that really matters and most players will do things they may be fairweather about if the rewards are good" but then I remember people are dying to get a house in this game which not only effects absolutely nothing but has nothing worthwhile attached. No glams, no mounts, no titles nada.
If the rewards are nonexistant then its housing TWO where you visit a buddies house and are like "oh thats nice" and thats it.
I really hope it has something worthwhile since Eorzea Crossing will be the only thing in the game for nonsavage raiders to do besides Sildihn Subterrean until the relics drop :/
I'm still laughing that the island gardening system uses unique seeds unrelated to housing gardening.
I would kinda prefer it to be something I have to actually do myself rather than just buy in a couple of weeks when the market floods.
Assuming it even is tradable, and we see what happens when large amounts of people are able to farm an item easily. It's worth absolutely nothing on the marketplace. The only reason regular garden items sell halfway decent is it's a limited allotment of plots, and even then, the profit margins are so slim you sometimes lose gil if the market tanks.
I am pretty sure it will sucks i mean you ll just be alone in a island...What's the point of building something if you can't show it to others
