After sixteen years in retail, being alone on an island sounds like paradise.
I love how we still haven't gotten actual detailed info (which is coming up in the next LL) and folks are still ignoring the advice from Yohsi-P himself to temper expectations.![]()
Except for the fact it has nothing to do with housing or instancing of housing.
It kind of implies that in the slide for it. I really hate how vague they are being with all this, regardless of any expectations. It's not like content has to be SEKRIT for the story. It's almost like they have given so little thought to it all, and making it up as they go.

Except not really because the issue with Garrisons in WoW was that it was used as a requirement for endgame. This is just a side thing
I literally don't see the point. If I wanted to play SDV or AC, then I'd pick up my switch and play it.
Now, if they release some sort of benefits to it(which there should be I hope) then I'll consider it.
The more I hear about island sanctuary the more I'm inclined to believe it's pure shit. And how in the world having instances housing is hard but island sanctuary is different when it's literally just an instanced place which you can customize? Moreover, why would I play a half assed version of started valley? I have several gardening simulators in my library...
Is it weird that, having just noticed the long braid on that Miqo'te, I'm now more hyped for the hair than for the island? It kind of implies that in the slide for it. I really hate how vague they are being with all this, regardless of any expectations. It's not like content has to be SEKRIT for the story. It's almost like they have given so little thought to it all, and making it up as they go.
