Why a beast tribe allowance?

Because gamers have terrible self-control.

There's a solution - they could just increase the amount of Beast Tribe Allowance (and also imo, Levequest Allowance) you access on a given day. But there's precedent for limiting some of these things, which I'm undoubtedly going to get shat on for saying as such. You can't trust some people to limit themselves.

It has absolutely nothing to do with ethics. They just don't want you to play through all content early, because that means they would be missing out on those juicy resubs. It's just a business model, and every relevant MMO does this.
