Why does the fanbase need to act as the devs emotional support buddies? We consume a product they produce, and we are to hold them to a standard. So some people get mad, and they might say MeAn WoRdS oN ThE InTeRnEt, but so what? Is the content of what they're saying invalidated because it isn't super nice and polite? If you were in a relationship (in any relation) and you had to "watch your words" and walk on eggshells to avoid the other party ignoring you, that's definitely not a nice relationship to be in.

I don't think that's fair at all. There's nothing particularly unreasonable about Lustre's posts.

If we're talking 'extremely annoying' I'd be more inclined to use that term to describe the posters who show up in response to any feedback whatsoever in order to try and downplay it. Furthermore, there's no real justification for bizarre personal attacks.
