Yeah... really weird choice. Would have much preferred another Eureka/Bozja over .... this. Why did it have to be the 2nd worst NPC in the game?..
Yeah forum posted it before I finished typing.Saw you edited your post.
I think a lot of people have a pretty good sense of humour and don't mind playful antics from time to time. Yet Hildibrand is a very divisive type of comedy that does not necessarily translate well across different cultures.
Furthermore, since they're being tied to another aspect of the game many of us were looking forward to...it's completely understandable why people are speaking up on the subject.
I do not think that word means, what you think it means....divisive
I don't think you need to touch on the Hildibrand quests to know that it's mostly memeish story content.
No one's saying the quest line is bad or unenjoyable. They're just saying it's not befitting of being tied to relics.
This whole thread boils down to: It's ok if you don't like this content or Hildebrand. Plenty of people disliked Bozja and Eureka as well. They can't make everyone happy all the time. Personally I'm excited to see what Eorzea's greatest blacksmith and goldsmith will bring.
I think I understand the definition rather well, actually. Furthermore, there's numerous responses to this very thread that prove it to be just that - divisive.
Though I imagine certain posters will embrace their typical modus operandi of drifting from thread to thread to declare that any feedback whatsoever is merely a minority and attempt to stifle it.
