So the SGE number should be 4590. And against 3 targets, and skipping the E.Dosis, SGE gets (480*10)+(960*2) = 6720.
We actually did had it wrong on some parts. I was wrong with the damage falloff portion, while you are wrong on the main target potency. Phlegma at lv60 is only 330p thanks to lv54 trait with 30% fall off. So it would be 330+(231*x).

Except you undervalued Phlegma, so it's 4590 vs. 4669. That difference is in the noise.
You've also undervalued the standard finish buff that the DNC gave to their partner which also counts to their overall contribution. Coupled with that a SGE will never outdps a DNC.

Didn't you realize that having only two mobs gives maximum advantage to DNC?
Anyway, thanks for the analysis.
Based on it I will refine my previous statement:
A SGE can out-DPS a DNC when doing AoE attacks on three or more mobs.
Now get out there and do it!
Didn't you realize excluding DNC's full kits with the assumption of "this is what I get from DR Levelling most of time" is also unfair considering how jobs are designed to function at their best at their cap level? You know that people would assume that everybody is on cap level when speaking of similar discussion until you barge in? You know a healer will NEVER comes close to any good DPS, so is this why you cherry pick a lv60 as your delusional baseline? (I wish I know exactly where I could find that page QooEr & WaxSw linking without having to scour aimlessly! They prove you flat wrong, period).

You really should add "Lv60" to further refine your delusions
Now play your game & get a better delusions!
