Healers need an overhaul

D6dmaager, while I agree with most of your post, one thing isn't always true:

One thing we know from devs, is that Healers will never out damage the other roles.

When a tank does a big trash pull and I'm on SGE or SCH, after pacing the mobs down the corridors while spamming my AoE attack, I usually target the tank and then wade into the thick of it, often standing back-to-back with the tank while AoEing the mobs and keeping the tank around 50% with my oGCD heals. In this particular situation, I am (according to my friend who parses) almost always the top damage-dealer, usually by a wide margin, because SCH and SGE AoE attacks don't drop off in potency after the first target.

It's marvelous fun, especially with a crowd of mobs that have AoE attacks themselves, dancing in and out to avoid standing in stupid, making sure everyone stays alive, and all the while being top DPS on the parse. If you've never tried it, you should

And don't be disheartened if you wipe occasionally until you get the hang of it. You've got a lot of balls to juggle when you're doing this.

P.S.: I've seen WHM do this too, with Holy, but I haven't played my WHM since I discovered SGE. And I will admit my complete lack of AST-related knowledge.
