I hope nobody in this thread has been against witch-hunting on those that use third-party tools. Because that is all this thread is, pointing a stick in another direction -- Against a different group of players.
100%.
I despise people witch hunting others for innocuous UI add-ons or slidecast indicators.
I despise people witch hunting others for 18+ mods.
Why don't they start witch hunting bots, wintraders, and hackers honestly? Direct your efforts there, because the situation has gotten so bad that people using bots and RMTing now openly joke about there being no repercussions as long as you don't make someone feel upset with a naughty word. Which is such an ass-backwards way to moderate the game and just causes more and more people to do the same because if you can't beat em literally join em.
This doesn't affect you at all. Why do you even care? Oooh. Is XIV getting their own puritanical era?
i guess we can make a parser on gil spent per hour on lap dances, other services ect :| id support an in game of that.
Don't care for those venues but what other people do or don't do in them (or with certain add-ons) do not affect me (or you) in any way.
Cry some more.
Why do you even care if people use adult mods? How does this impact you?
Was waiting for someone to use this as an opportunity to drag the ERP community through the mud again.
Newsflash to the pearl clutchers: People who use mods aren't using them to creep on you. They're used for their own character or for those they closely interact with. Trust me, no one actually cares about your random Miqo or Bun running past or wants to perv on them. You're not special. Not sorry about it.
Direct your anger where it matters towards things that actually affect the game and stop witch-hunting those doing things in the privacy of their own apartments or houses because the idea of sex is some scary concept to you.
If you visit somewhere clearly known for that and witness it, ask yourself why you're there in the first place...at that point it's your own fault.
