A pet peeve that I’ve developed ever since the DPS neutral misery and 20s lily timer was added is how abundant the random WHMs who are still not relying on their lilies.

Cure I, Cure II, Medica, Medica II spammer in lv80/90 duties. Holy moly, what are they doing with their now-overabundant lilies?

Squeenix can lower the lily timer to 5s per 1 lily and I’ll still see these spammers ignoring their lilies any days. They are no use unless the WHM are actually using them.

Tell me, what’s so stinky from the lily that they just don’t want to touch it? /s

That's why I say delete them. To elaborate on a post I made earlier about Cure II and Medica on specifically how I'd handle them is make them the only GCD heals that aren't Lily-dependent and then have them upgrade into Solace and Rapture while you have lilies. Then when you have no lilies, both Cure II and Medica grant a Lily if you're forced to use them after having run dry on lilies. It's shoehorning people into using their lilies, but maybe the beginner healer should be railroading new healers down the correct path, and then just expand on alternative options for lily heals.

On idea I had was cutting Medica II as a separate spell and make Regen an OGCD that makes your next healing spell apply a regen: 250 potency for single target healing and 150 potency for AoE healing. It would have a cooldown so you can't just always use it, but would allow you to more fluidly apply Regens with other healing resources.

You're my spirit animal. I'm usually chill and too focused on not screwing up myself... but if I ever hear a single Medica 2/Cure 2 (and Hydaelyn forbid Cure 1) sound effect at content above level 60 I just... give the WHM healing a strong side-eye. It awakens something in me...

I keep a buff-cancel macro specifically for things like Medica II, Regen, EProg or Succors in dungeons. Sure it's a little petty but it keeps things a little more fun seeing how fast I can react to and drop unnecessary HoT's.

I've gone through dungeons where I've literally clicked off 20-30 Medica II's instantly and never dropped below 50% health.

They REALLY badly need to redesign healer leveling curves.(And honestly most class leveling curves) so that tools are given earlier.

IMO by level 50 all classes should have the basic feel that they have at 90, just with some of the extras pared off.

They could honestly give early WHM Misery in the form of Fluid Aura doing damage.

I think having Misery earlier would promote better learning for newcomers.

I see. So you want assize to have two charges, so it can have the flexibility it once had? I've only been playing since Shb, so I'm working from there. But still, I feel like charges is something you just use on cooldown. I'd rather they do something more interesting with the existing skills than just add charges.

Personally, I'd want Assize to have two charges and be on the GCD to promote keeping one on CD and the other as a backup pass opener and burst windows. Being on the GCD would help with weaving (Although they don't really need it anymore).

This used to be one of my wishlist before they add the 1.5s cast time minus the 2nd charge. The idea is to have Assize deals purely damage and restore MP while granting their allies confession stack that can be procc'ed with any source of healing, which improves the probability of not wasting the cure potencies. Each use of Assize will unlock access to a hypothetical instant GCD "Tornado" for an AoE+DoT zerging option with damage fall off for balancing purpose. This provides them with more movement options as well an option to hold some Tornado casts to ensure it can be fit into raidbuff windows. Additionally with confession added to Assize, lv70 Plenary can be replaced with something else more inspiring to use.

Of course it is but a fat wishes at this point... lol

What does lowkey annoy me is when I see a WHM/AST (90% of the time a WHM tho, just saying) casting multiple Medica II/Aspected Helios to top everyone off ....do you people even know what a regen is?!

Typically with a good tank I'm using Assize, Lilies, Benediction, Tetra, and Divine Benison. But by god when I have to use Cure 2 and Medica 2, I have to *spam it*/keep medica 2's regen ticking. And then I sit there wondering "wh... where did all of my resources go??? This can't be it????"
